Ideas
Encourage interactions between Towers residents and other Seward residents.
- Open up Towers' block clubs to surrounding areas.
- Dinner groups (like in churches: someone volunteers to host and people sign up to attend).
- Farmer's Market in Triangle Park, or booth installation
(R. Garwood suggested as contact).
- Another showboat trip down the locks.
- Start a walking club.
- More events, playgroups, activities, and field trips for kids.
- Programs mixing up adults and kids.
- Exchange teas, meals, and fashion.
Unstructured family exchange or family buddies-pair up families from different cultures.
- Provide a list of suggested activities.
- Have a big event for all participating families.
Cultural exchange
- Teach western women how to wear a hijab.
- "Cultural Celebrations."
- Exchange traditional games.
- Storytelling and music.
- Good neighbor program (educate about litter, recycling, energy need, etc.)
- Support familiesÑby teaching English and also helping them keep their own languages and cultures.
Use the Community Room more.
- Music.
- Potluck.
- Sewing circles.
Public sitting spaces.
- Somewhere where you don't have to buy anything to be in a public space.
- BBQ areas.
Women from the community teaching women in the Towers.
- Weekly sewing lab at the Towers.
- Put out a call for sewing machine donations.
- Teach sewing and knitting.

Other suggestions
- Bigger swimming pool (and a little pool too).
- The community needs another store.
- Provide more housing for the people, for homeless youth, in smaller buildings.
- Put in recycling for the towers!!!!
- We should make our own clothes.
